Who We Are
Au†o Angels is an all volunteer ministry committed to meeting the transportation needs of those within our church community who are unable to meet those needs themselves.
Auto Angels was formed in 2005 after a small group of church members became aware of transportation issues families were having while participating in BelPres outreach programs. The ministry is Christ-centered with every meeting and workday opened in prayer. We profess to being part of God’s rescue mission here on earth and strive to be the hands and face of Jesus to those we serve. The services we offer include comprehensive inspections, oil changes, and brake jobs.
Au†o Angels operates under the umbrella of the BelPres Missions Department.
What We Do
The Au†o Angels Mission seeks to impact people’s lives. Since their beginning in 2005, Au†o Angels Ministry has helped people in our community by:
● Maintaining their primary transportation vehicle with affordable service and repairs.
● Providing FREE safety inspections and diagnosis.
● Assisting with an affordable replacement vehicle when their current car or truck is beyond economic usefulness.
● Accepting vehicle donations that can be repaired and re-purposed to provide qualified individuals with a vehicle that helps meet their transportation needs.
● Partnering with local businesses for more complex repairs.
● Mentoring our youth about automobile safety and maintenance, often guiding work on special projects.
● Providing an opportunity to minister for Christ. Volunteers get back more than they put into the ministry through seeing the positive impact they have on the lives of those they help.
Au†o Angels provides 35 Auto Clinics on Saturday mornings that service and repair over 250 vehicles each year. We average 20+ volunteers per clinic and in 2017 we accumulated over 6,000 volunteer hours working on cars and other events in the ministry.
Au†o Angels may transfer 10-20 donated vehicles each year to individuals and families through an independent Benevolence Committee program.
Finally, once each year Auto Angels sponsors a Car Show fundraiser to help cover the costs of our programs. Each vehicle entered and sponsored award helps support the transportation needs of our community.
